Lyrebird Health ensures that all data is stored securely to comply with local privacy laws and healthcare regulations. For users in the UK, data is stored within the UK and in some instances, data is processed in Frankfurt, Germany, in the European Economic Area. This localisation ensures compliance with GDPR while keeping your information secure and free from foreign jurisdiction risks. Our commitment to transparency and regional compliance gives you confidence that your data is always handled with the utmost care.
Who has access to the consultation information?
Your consultation information is only accessible to you. Lyrebird processes recordings in real time to create clinical notes, with no human intervention in the transcription process. We adhere to the principle of minimal access, ensuring only essential systems have access to perform the necessary tasks. This protects your data while maintaining complete confidentiality.
How long are transcriptions and patient notes stored?
At Lyrebird, no audio recordings from your consultations are stored. Text transcripts and clinical documents generated by the system remain under your control. You decide how long to keep them, and deletion is as simple as a click whenever you choose. By default, they are stored for a period of 7 days before being completely wiped off the server.
How is patient consent managed when using Lyrebird?
